Liquid bromine is a dense, volatile, and reddish-brown halogen element (Br₂) with a strong, irritating odor. It is highly reactive and corrosive, commonly used in industries for manufacturing flame retardants, pharmaceuticals, dyes, water treatment chemicals, and agrochemicals.
